Dog on EHX all you want, but they really innovate sometimes, and certainly push the envelope when coming up with new effects. This seemed wtf at first, but the more I dug into it, the more I kinda think it's genius.

122Yeah, that's pretty neat, and kind of an inexpensive entry into the 'warmth box' world.tommy wrote: Fri Sep 09, 2022 10:11 am Dog on EHX all you want, but they really innovate sometimes, and certainly push the envelope when coming up with new effects. 123If they'd added both the Small Stone and Small Clone to this thing you'd really have something.penningtron wrote: Fri Sep 09, 2022 10:21 amYeah, that's pretty neat, and kind of an inexpensive entry into the 'warmth box' world.tommy wrote: Fri Sep 09, 2022 10:11 am Dog on EHX all you want, but they really innovate sometimes, and certainly push the envelope when coming up with new effects. Re: Interesting Gear Developments Thread
126I have an H9 max and it's AWESOME. The reverbs alone are good enough to be used as an outboard effects unit in the studio which at least a couple dudes I know are doing.
I would have loved to have 3 in a chain.

127I'd fuck with it, though I am in the same boat. I have a pretty strong aversion to spending almost a grand on something I am going to be stomping on, especially a digital multi-fx like this.uglysound wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 9:39 am https://www.gearnews.com/leak-h90-harmo ... -eventide/
$899 for a DSP fx pedal. The H9 seems to be somewhat popular. I'm guessing synth users and heavily-effected-guitar people are the target audience. I wouldn't sell it if someone gave it to me.

129What the actual fuck could possibly be so magical about the Minimoog to fetch that kind of price tag? Gold/platinum wiring? A nuclear centrifuge? Diamond-jeweled bearings for the pitch/mod wheels? This is an obscenity.tallchris wrote: Moog is reissuing the Minimoog Model D again, for $5k.
