FWIW i have only ever heard that these sound great for the price. comparable to the Warm and the Red Golden Age pres, not quite as nice as the premier version of Golden Age but not crap.

Seems kinda close to reasonable actually, $279+tax. i'm sure I could talk them down to 225 or so - I've been wanting a 15 for my decades old rb 400 anyway.....

I like the whole deal with these Risson amps. An old timer from here I worked with said they were great, but in the 80s you wanted to be SEEN with Marshalls, so they were fighting that uphill battle. I think the head cabs are MDF so they're probably heavy as hell.
