at the moment it is Stooges' "Fun House."
this kind of thing changes for me, but "Fun House" cannot be denied.

I have given this much thought and decided Funhouse by the Stooges is the best album ever

This record is suprisingly good. I say 'surprisingly', because I like Joni Mitchell anyway...but I hadn't come across it until a few months ago, when I was blown away after hearing 'Other People's Parties' on the radio. Strangely, I didn't immediately recognise it as her, as she's signing in a slightly lower register than I was used to, but recognised her melodic/technical style.
There's a raw, emotional honesty that runs throughout the album, that makes it kind of great.
Still can't make up my mind about my favourite record. I'll think on it some more and try and narrow it down.
