Why does she insist on that makeup which makes her look like a gargoyle? She already looks like one, why does she feel the need to emphasize it?

is a good move. Gabe, their bassist (aka Bosco Mann), is
one of the greatest bassists I have ever seen. Not in the sense that he plays mindblowing histrionics, it's just that he really knows his way around a funky bassline. His sense of rhytm is impeccable, every change up or breakdown flawless. It's a hell of lot of fun to see him/them play, and a lot of the non-Dap Kings recordings I've hear him play on and/or produce are top-shelf.
Never heard any of Winehouse's music.

Although I really like her voice (a lot), I think she is a very sad human being. I would like to see her with more meat on her bones and walking thorugh the streets at 2:30am wearing more than a bra and a pair of jeans.
She's talented and (sadly) I doubt she will make it another five years.
