Somehow turntables and scratching are related to all of this shit... somehow.

So are guitars.

So are guitars.
To be fair, those guitars have 7 strings.
That is an important fact to be added to the equation.

Point taken. But I am not ruling out a genre of music here. I think Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock and P-Diddy are NOT LEGITIMATE ART(ISTS).

Rap-metal is way different than rap. Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, and P-Diddy are all arrogant shitheads, and some think that Diddy helped ruin rap (though I have to give him credit as an entrepreneur). Plus, Diddy isn't rap-metal.

Public Enemy, 36 Chambers-era Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah, Asheru, they are not crap. Well, a lot of these guys are pretty arrogant too, but they at least have talent to back it up.

You have a point.

Non sequitur: Just last night a friend and i were thinking about how cool it would be to see someone play a 6-string bass with only, like, three strings.

True, but other "guitar" music that I like doesn't have this turntable disease plaguing it like Rap Metal does. Therein lies a commonality that isn't present in other "good" guitar music. Therefore I have deducted something: Turntables + Metal (guitar music) will most likely = feces.

I just can't believe that with all this discussion of "Chopped And Screwed", there haven't been any Dahmer-victim jokes. Yet.
