I did see a broken high-heel shoe on the floor afterwards; did I step on your toe or something?
This thread is getting dramatic.

I'm not going to ruin the memory of a perfectly awesome show by dragging out some artificial beef with a stranger. He can just PM me when he realizes he's wrong. Or we could take it to this thread

No. I said what I had to say about it. I didn't threaten you. I was just saying that I am glad I wasn't on the floor. Inevitably I would have fought someone over that. It has happened at the last two metal shows that I have been to. I don't want to get kicked out of a concert that I drove 12 hours to be at.

I have pushed forth in a crowd, at a show. I avoid the pit, wait for that dumb fuck to pass me by, while he's wailing his fists randomly in the air, then I slide in. I slowly push and act as though it's some pit action bringing you closer. Then you turn your hands vertically and pry forth the pile of people who are not going any where any way. Keep going, say you're sorry, and finally touch the wall of the venue.
I like the "tank, tank, tank, tank" technique though.

Glad y'all had fun in NYC, syntax! If you guys went to Koreatown, you walked right past my office on 33rd St. Koreatown is heaven for girl-watching and lunch.
Too bad we couldn't have hooked up again, but it may be better that you guys did your own thing your first time in the city. We'll do it up right next time.

That Weinberg really supports the metal scene.
Somebody else told me him and his kid were backstage at a Lamb of God show around here and the kid was critiquing the band's performance right after the show to their face.
I don't know how true that is, but hey, in the spirit of internet forums, why not?

His kid has been pretty instrumental (ha! ha!) in getting those types of bands on Conan.
I say it's all good.

I just remembered that he was also at the Weedeater gig burun and I saw at Club Midway. Was his son in one of the opening bands? Seems like that was the case, but the whole night's fuzzy. Shit, I can't even remember who opened now.
I don't think we'll be seeing Dixie Dave yak on Conan's stage anytime soon though.

Weedeater and US Christmas, Mike?
You are almost missing out living in Brooklyn.
So Max just gets to take his kid backstage at any New York event. I wish I was famous, just so I could start a metal band that his kid liked and not let him backstage.
