Do people use pulse generators for experimental noise? How?
I did get some strange sounds out of it but I definitely didn't know what I was doing.
Maybe a person would use pulses generated by this gizmo to trigger a noise gate to open/close?
You could run it into a bunch of pedals. Sample it. yeah this is a thing, Some guy on Youtube does this a bunch, Hannabach or something like that is his name.. You should do it too!

Hainbach. I don’t always watch his stuff due to bad attention span but he’s the king of turning weird audio test equipment into music.

If you want to check out somebody using this sort of gear with nice, austere results (a la Pansonic), give Andrea Taeggi a listen:

I really like his YouTube channel. For some reason I think he might be really short IRL.

I would guess he is maybe around my height, like 5'11". I see him on the train sometimes. If you sign up for his Patreon at the highest tier you can ask him his exact height in a private Zoom mentoring session.

My pleasure. Check out his duo with Koenraad Ecker too, Lumisokea:
Because of the military history in San Diego, there’s still a large quantity of wild electronic signal equipment available - I talk myself out of a lot as maintenance projects I don’t need, but from a design point of view, I just want it around https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... tid=HHaHfI
