They rule. I prefer toggle switch models to push button, but would buy either if the price was right and I needed a compressor.

Full control of attack and release time, or a totally usable auto setting, side chain capability, a limiter, and they sound cool overdriven. It can do a subtle utilitarian squeeze like a dbx 160 or a destroyed all buttons in 1176 type sound on a room mic

Can't talk you out of it. One of the best bang for the buck compressors I've used. I used this for almost everything as my go-to. I feel kinda stupid that I don't have a pair of them.
