This is where I stopped reading because that is an incorrect statement.

This is like discussing why The Clash are better than Rancid with some kids.

In case I didn't already make this clear, KISS is to CRAP as Peripatetic is to KISS devotion.

Nina wrote:"I love listening to Terry Gross on NPR. I like the unique insight she provides into the more personal aspects of the various artists and famous folks she interviews.

Remember Kiss, the mediocre heavy metal band back in the eighties that specialized in crazy make up and cod pieces? Terry interviewed Kiss front man Gene Simmons awhile back, where he revealed himself to be one of the most narcissistic people on the planet. I think he may be trying to compensate for something.

Terry Gross is always annoying. "This is Fresshh Aiiirrrrr" I remember listening to this interview live. It was hilarious. What do people expect to hear from Gene Simmons? Something "insightful"? What a larf.

Would they still play the same music?

See, ok. Now you've said something that makes sense. I can accept that.

Shout at the Devil still rules, though.

KISS was never a "heavy metal" band, only Gene wore a codpiece, and they arguably were a '70s band. Crazy makeup? Is there any other kind?

"Remember KISS" she says. Of course, everyone remembers KISS.

Someday, someone will say "Remember Terry Gross, the mediocre radio interviewer-lady from NPR"? And a few people might. Most won't.

You are correct, but they did not wear cod pieces in the 80s (at least not after 82 when the make up came off).

The biggest error was making it sound like they were from they 80s. They were around in the 80s, sure, but they were not what's normally referred to as an 80s band.
