This is what kept me from seeing The Dollop in Saint Paul. Kept trying to buy two tickets but every time I picked seats, the ticket site kept returning some message about how I couldn't pick those seats (any seats) because they were in blocks of three.
Nearly messaged the pod but then I was like, "Dave and Gareth don't have anything to do with how the tickets get sold."

Ever since I saw Stargate I've been crushing on Jaye Davidson, even more when seeing The Crying Game.

Apparently he used to have trouble finding a date, since no other guys liked his femme looks. Those guys were idiots I say. Take me back to 1992 and I'll date you, Jaye.

I can't get Ali MacGraw's "Jenny" letting Ryan O'Neal's "Oliver" off of the hook with 'love means never having to say you're sorry' in Love Story. So sad. And how cute is 70's Ali MacGraw.

I didn't realize that James Caan is dead. Time to watch his carpeted chest in Rollerball again.

Love that film.

A long time ago I bought a 'replica' shirt like the orange one he wears in Rollerball, with the number on the back and everything. Then a couple of years ago I was going to a music festival and noticed they were having a fancy dress contest, so i thought I'd go as Jonathan from Rollerball, wore the shirt with a crash helmet and shoulder pads*. This was on the Sunday of a weekend long festival.
I askes some staff and security about the fancy dress contest and none of them seemed to know what I was on about. There was also a distinct lack of other people in fancy dress.
Turns out they were only doing it on the Saturday, so I looked like a knob for the whole day to no particular benefit.

*Weren't real shoulder pads as I couldn't source proper ones in time, so I went with some carwashing sponges with velcro attached stuck under the shirt. Not even going to comment on how ridiculous THAT looked.
