It was! This was my first real sit down with Grails. I went along with my buddy who is a big fan. After about the third or fourth song we started commenting about the show where I came to the conclusion of Meddle-era Pink Floyd - which I love - and he said something about it sounding like an unreleased PF album. All good in my world. Monster drummer.

My wife kinda laughed when I told her we were going, and she was not expecting much. She had the best time.

Couldn't recognize the song. Did they have merch? I sort of miss the days of going to arena shows and buying a program.

The song is "Home of the Brave."

It's probably the best example of the worst of the American attempt at incorporating "prog rock" into a song. But that particular jam, which features in the middle and the end of the song, I just love. If I was a guitar tech, that's what I'd use.

While Toto made a LOT of shit songs, of their 12 or so albums, they have a couple handfuls of good tracks. And they are really incredible musicians. Jeff Porcaro, before he died at 38, was likely the most recorded drummer in rock, and they have all been on soooo many recordings. They were LA's session musicians for decades.

Yeah they had merch, $30 for a shirt, they had sweatshirts and hats, but nothing like a program that I saw. This year it seems to be a series of one-offs rather than a proper tour.

Breeders w Man On Man.

Not the best pics but trust that good times were achieved. I bet Man on Man is a lot more fun in a more intimate space. If Roddy and Joey are looking for a drummer that works for cheap I know a guy. All band should have a live drummer.
