It could be any style/category of perfume, the only restriction being we could only use 10 aroma chemicals to make it. After 33 attempts I am satisfied and batched it today, about 230ml of amateur gourmand (that means it smells edible) fragrance. It has to sit for a few weeks (supposedly six is optimal but alas three it will be). I'll be mailing vials out to those who are judging later this month. Excited to hear how I do!
Fucking renaissance man right here. gdamn.

I've known people with the lids that fold over, if that is what you refer to. Don't wait too long to have that remedied. I hear it's real energy drain to live with those.
I . . . don’t think so? I mean the wrinkle/small flap on the outer edge of the eyelid, like Bing Crosby got when he was older.

Really tough morning with my 10 year old yesterday (details include lots of four letter words directed at his little brother, then me and mom, with some shoves thrown in.)
Went to see his 5th grade class musical a little bit after this, he was great, the whole show was great. I tried to congratulate him, he was unreceptive at best.
By the end of the day, I feel like I had gotten him turned around towards some positivity (which is really tough to do while also imposing consequences.)

Took both kids to hockey, came home to a dog that got skunked. Got baking soda, peroxide, dish soap, cleaned, rinsed, cleaned, rinsed, cleaned, rinsed.
He was much better, but still foul, so we tried setting up his bed in the garage. He has attachment issues from a previous owner, and it was clear that wasn't going to work, so I ended up "sleeping" in the basement with him. I don't want today to happen.

I give this day a 2, would not recommend.

Tomato juice for skunk. It's far better than baking soda.

Sorry to hear your boy is difficult, hopefully it's just a stage.

Here, everyone have a little cancer!

Srsly, though: Drs are telling the Mrs that the chemo was effective. Outpatient surgery next week to sort out the chemo port and any dregs of the tumor. Her hair is starting to grow back. She feels a little better. It is, as she says, "Somewhat better than dying."

In the meantime, the dermatologist recommended I move to a less sunny climate. Like a cave, for example. I get two plugs taken out of my face in the next ten days. First was today. Right cheek is all stitched up and tight. Hurts.

Did the thing where they hack a little, check the edges, hack a little more, decide they got it, stitch it all up. Takes about an hour and a half between debridings. I was sat in a waiting room with a bunch of old people. We all had at least one bright and clean white surgical dressing on our faces. Some more than others. It looked like river-swim day at the old folks home, and we were attacked by a very low-achieving school of piranha.

Once they were confident they'd gotten it all, they had me come in and get all stitched back together. It felt like the doc was stitching up a pair of 14 eyelet Dr Martens while he was chatting breezily with me about fly fishing.

Kiddo is bored with summer already, but also hates school. Living in the middle of nowhere, she has a dearth of friends who want to come over and talk for six hours about Demon Slayer. She needs constant interaction which means that I think my days of working from home are winding down for now. It's not great.

Face hurts. Did I mention that?

This is the good stuff.

Sorry to hear of the face gouging. Better out than in and all that.
