Related to the above comment - Is my RE20 really quiet, or do they all sound like this?

I am so sick of superfluous dialog boxes and "see what's new" prompts getting in the way of just getting shit done.
Oh man. Microsoft, making "more info" the only option you can click on to make the pop up go away, that's sadistic.

"Their greatest ambition of making their grandparents nod in approval has come to pass, and now they can all contently wait in line to audition for Greta Van Fleet."

(About gen Z guitarists who drink the Boomer-Aid on gear)

As an aside - I couldn't remember that band's name for the life of me, so I Googled "urgh what's that gen z band that's trying to sound like led zeppelin again?" and got the result immediately.

A Bandcamp journey looking for something else led me to discover that one can buy a set of 10 Scott McCaughey -related albums for 60 bucks. If I could get a deal on a disused AM radio station, I'd buy both and set up a 24/7 shuffle situation.

If you're going to sell pickups, you need to at least have some sound clip of what the thing sounds like.

And if you offer finish options, you need to show them.

No matter how famous or successful of a maker you are. ffs.

Just because you hold classical liberal and/or progressive views doesn't mean you have to make yourself into a fucking milquetoast doormat.

I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of Chicago music history, from the 1920s through the 1960s, and it’s endlessly fascinating.

Also, some of the stuff recorded at the Chess studio on South Michigan Ave sounds so fucking good that it kills me.
