My Dad would/should have been 77 today.
Miss you, Dad.

1335Why does Facebook hit me with a constant barrage of Deborah Harry and Dave Mustaine? I can take or leave either.
Re: What are you thinking right this second?
1336Lolz it could be worse, mine is a constant barrage of whatever daily minutiae Taylor Swift is doing at the moment. Not only am I indifferent to her music, I think she ought to be left the hell alone so she can enjoy her life in peace.Dave N. wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2023 1:20 pm Why does Facebook hit me with a constant barrage of Deborah Harry and Dave Mustaine? 1337Love Prince. J'adore Prince's music. His visual aesthetic is tacky as fuck though.
Justice for Dexter Wade and Nakari Campbell

Re: What are you thinking right this second?
1339As for Prince... "Kiss" rocks but "Little Red Corvette" sucks. Not sure how that would pan out across the catalogue.

1340haha yeah.. I remember back when google street view was a somewhat new feature, typing in "Paisley Park" expecting to see some kind of bonkers magical music making factory. Instead it looks like the most boring 1980s office park-looking building that should house the corporate headquarters of a gravel company or something.
(I realize other factors go into the design of a large complex but c'mon.. it's Prince. He couldn't at least decorate it with purple murals..)
