I had to climb over/heavily lean on a giant rosemary bush to look at my electrical meter. Now I smell like a low budget Italian restaurant.
I do feel you should be acknowledged however, I think the salute is reserved for other motorized 2-wheelers only. I always appreciate a flashed light when heading towards a speed-trap. I also got an airhorn salute from an 18wheeler for getting roadhead. I don't think we realized that they see everything from their cab.enframed wrote: Sat Jun 17, 2023 1:04 pm When I am driving and I notice a motorcycle splitting lanes approach from behind and I move over to let it pass more safely I am always disappointed when they don't acknowledge me with the two-finger salute down low. I try not to be a transactional kinda person, but in this instance I feel I'm owed that.
I'm not concerned with use of the salute, though, just the acknowledgement, however they do it. Most use the salute though. It makes sense because in a way we are looking out for them.zorg wrote: Thu Jun 22, 2023 4:24 amI do feel you should be acknowledged however, I think the salute is reserved for other motorized 2-wheelers only. Kinda thinking the airhorn was intended to salute the person ministrating upon you.zorg wrote: Thu Jun 22, 2023 4:24 amI do feel you should be acknowledged however, I think the salute is reserved for other motorized 2-wheelers only. Flattering. He sent a file of his music but I can't open the fucking thing. It's an .rpp-bak file? What the fuck? *googles*My friend Josh from circa 1990 wrote:You want to take a shot at some lyrics? I am writing and recording a lot of music. I can only imagine what you might do.
