Mussolini Headkick. Angry, beat driven Wax Trax! band from the 80's.
I remember them!
In fact, I was just thinking about them a few minutes ago, for some odd reason...
I'm listening to The Tubes' "White Punks On Dope" on YouTube video

1363You're the only person I've met that knows who the hell they are. Maybe some hip goth girl might, but I doubt it.

1364Hip goth girl, eh?
I remember them because I have a friend who used to work at Wax Trax and he used to play all that techno-industrial stuff all the time. I recognize the name (it's a good, memorable name) but probably couldn't identify the music if I heard it though.
Do you think it's good enough to warrant a post to Sendspace?

This is the Flavor of Love, not the Flavor of Friendship.

1366Definitely worth a sendspace. I'm a big fan of 80's Wax Trax!, even if some of those releases don't age well. Mussolini Headkick have aged pretty well. The song "Holy War" seems fitting nowadays.
I'll have it up soon.

Over the past couple of months, I've immersed myself in all of JRLP's albums. I previously wasn't too familiar with his post-SKWM work, and I was a fool. On the upside, I now have several new favorite albums.
These are some of the best songs I have ever heard.

1370Oh hell, I forgot I was going to upload the Frontier album Heater...
It's a good record, I believe it was engineered by Steve, but it's out of print now. I'll get on that.
