I flew to LA to see this bill in March 2004 at the Troubadour. It was the official Melvins 20th Anniversary Show.

Needless to say it rocked.

In July, they're going to play the Mangled Demos from 1983 with Dale on bass and original drummer Mike Dillard on drums. How cool is that?

I love them but they have too many fanboys who over-rate them to the end of the earth and think everything they do is pure gold.

Bullhead is incredible, not so keen on the ipecac stuff after repeated listens but the last album was pretty good, their best since Stag maybe.
