Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins.

I can remember guitar magazine interviews where Billy Corgan talked about that record being able to induldge all of his sixties and seventies rock guitar fantasies.

For a long time, I tried to tell myself that Siamese Dream actally sounded half as good as anything from those days.

Given the chance, I would surely go back and tell myself to just give it up.

When I was about 16-17 this album was the shit. At 20, this album is just shit.

Back in the days when I used to be a hardcore weezer fan. Man, I can't believe I spent money on this piece of crap...

Got this album when I was about 13/14 from a vending machine game in Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas. Ironically enough, this album introduced me to rock music, and I started to stop listening to the Backstreet Boys.
By the by, that's the last Stone Temple Pilots album, as it's probably not self-evident.

Speaking of which, this album was my life when I was twelve.

As was this one.

Fuck I'm so much younger than you guys. Embarrassingly so.

Seriously, these are hilarious records. For those folks that haven't heard Jim Gillette's voice, you need to listen to Machine Gun Eddie.

EDIT:

I just saw THIS, and I'm on the floor in hysterics!

It's like the begining of Angel Of Death played backwards. But sung by a castrato.

This along with Nevermind were my first cassette purchases back in the summer of 1994. I was nine, and even then I sort of cringed listening to it.
I have to ask, did you already have the 1st record and were impressed enough to buy this one or did you think this one was better?

In my seach for more and more extreme metal, I came across this gem.

I know what you're thinking...but it wasn't nearly as good as it looks.
