My old band was going to cover Sorrow - David Bowie for a special 'unplugged' gi at Ronnie Scotts..it sounded great when we practised it with a quartet but..I don't know what happened; why we didn't do it.

My band generally has "Let The Music Play" by Billy Preston somewhere near the beginning of our set.

Last show we did TV On The Radio's "Wolf Like Me" (which is incredibly fun to play) for a friend of mine who was visiting. We also did "All Along The Watchtower" and Radiohead's "Let Down" with a friend's band.

God, I love this song.

Agreed.

Songs I've covered in the past that stand out as being memorable:

New Order - Sunrise
Pavement - Frontwards
Alice Cooper - Long Way To Go
The Bee-Gees - The Earnest of Being George
The Go-Go's - Head Over Heels
The Damned - Stab Your Back
X - The Hungry Wolf

One year the band I was in played a Halloween show as Joy Division. From what I can remember here is The Young Men's set list:

Disorder
Living in the Ice Age
Warsaw
They Walked in Line
New Dawn Fades
Love Will Tear Us Apart
Ceremony

The band I'm currently in has been playing Bowie's "Five Years."

In high school all we did was play Metallica songs, and we played them very well.

For Whom the Bell Tolls
Am I Evil
Creeping Death
The Thing That Should Not Be
The Four Horsemen
Fade To Black
Seek and Destroy
