I always notice the stickers that say something like "vietnam: if you weren't there, don't open your mouth," and I think dang, that's dumb as shit. I expect to see the Iraq ones in a couple of years.

I have sympathy for veterans though, not because I think war is cool but because actual battle with guns and bombs is one of the most fucked-up things a human being can have to go through. a lot of those dudes come home pretty fried.

When I was driving from Chicago to LA, I was in a little town in SD, having seen only white faces for a few days. Some guy drove by blasting hip-hop, and sure enough he was black... and I actually had to resist the urge to cheer.

its funny, i have this theory that whenever i find myself in a room full of only white people, i should be suspicious because there's a reason for that (quite possibly a shady reason); "uh oh, what are they conspiring this time?"

anyhow, the following isn't quite a prejudice, but.... though i'm not prejudiced against homosexuals, i have absolutely no problem with listening to certain reggae musicians who are.

Ok I have seached for a while now and can't find anything about Nancy Friday that mentions her theories on this subject. Can you explain or direct me to a source? Her website sux BTW.
