That's always the thing, ain't it? I'm pretty lucky in that, for whatever reason, most guitars feel the same to me with the exception of some neck profiles being more to my tastes than others. Bear in mind, though, my solution for that is usually to hack away at the neck until the profile is to my tastes, so I'm not really a reliable gauge for gear shopping here...On that note, one of those $250 StewMac S-type kits might be a good idea in that you can make it absolutely perfect for your personal preferences.

Couple of part changes should do the trick.Oh shit I have to start selling possessions. This as a head may be I-T it.

Is there a pedal that'll work as an expression pedal & a volume pedal, but not at the same time? Like it'll only be an expression pedal if the pedal it's changing is activated, otherwise it'll be a volume pedal?Trying to conserve some space on my board, and I've really found that the mini-volume/expression pedals don't work for my big ass feet.

It's a stereo volume or dual expression or single vol/single exp pedal, depending on how you hook it up. Keep in mind that if you have it set as volume in one part of the effects chain, it will still affect the volume when you have activated the pedal with Exp input. I thought someone made an exp pedal that had a footswitch to select between two CV outputs but I can't find anything now. Source Audio and EHX both make dual exp pedals but they function the same as the BOSS minus the ability to use as volume, at least without using insert cables.

Love the thing. Feels just like an Ernie Ball pedal but without the stupid string.

Mastery hardware for the Jazzmaster.(Emailed Woody at Mastery about fitting a bridge onto my unusual model and he responded in under seven minutes. Total king.)Also a Pedaltrain Jr and a Pedal Power to go with.I'm becoming all kind of things I once hated!

Man, how is someone not making that exact thing in a world of those Pedaltrain Jr. pedal boards?Seems like it would be the first "Functionality" pedal a company would come up with. Like "Tuner"-level obvious.

Feels just like an Ernie Ball pedal but without the stupid string.Okay, so the more I read up on this, seems like the Boss guy won't do what I'm thinking, unless put the volume part in a loop and engage it when I want to use the volume vs. the expression.I found this thing: http://this1smyne.com/shop/externalernie/ and it seems like it'll make any volume pedal into an expression pedal and I can use this to switch between. He also mods the Ernie Ball vp so you can switch between expression and volume. But, I'm not a huge fan of the Ernie Ball guy, and I can't find another pedal with an external switch to go between volume & expression. So far my options seem to be:Boss/Fractal/Dunlop/etc volume/expression pedal with an additional loop pedal to switch the volume part in and out (adds a pedal to the board which I'd like to avoid)Modded Ernie Ball vp pedal with an external switch (doesn't add a pedal to the board, but not a fan of the EB volume pedal)External pedal that can make any volume pedal into an expression pedal and switch between (adds another pedal to the board)
