The absolutely most obnoxious song is that "let the cops chase us around" piece of shit "Hey Jealosy" but I'm Kerbling with that one. So, yeah, I agree generally with everyone except for the Zep haters but don't want to duplicate answers. Here's my 10:

1. "Stand Up and Be Strong" Soul Asylum
2. "In the Summertime" Mungo Jerry
3. "The Fanatic" Felony
4. "Boot Scootin' Boogie" Brooks and Dunn
5. "Wild Thing" X
6. "Hell is for Children" Pat Benatar
7. "Bitch" Meredith Brooks
8. "Only Time Will Tell" Asia
9. "Gloria" Laura Brannigan
10. "You Belong to the City" Glen Fuckin' Frey

Worst 3 seconds of music: The theme song to Hannah Montana when she does the coy sing-talking all of a sudden to the line "...when you're famous it can be kinda fun..."

I have a 6 year old daughter so I have to hear this song ad infinitim.

I have not the time nor patience to go through all of this thread...so has anybody mentioned Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy by Big & Rich? All time most witless turd in music- at least, the biggest turd to hit the millenium yet.

And yes, Little River Band, thank you. How did these guys not get spoofed on Yacht Rock? They're the epitome of balding, paunchy, middle aged attorneys in shiny Hawaiin shirts hitting Daytona Beach during spring break.

Though, honestly, I was hungover yesterday with the song Lady stuck in my head, and couldn't help but laugh at the sentiments expressed in So Lady, let me take a look at you now/You're there on the dancefloor making me want you somehow....Don't be thinking that I don't want you/'Cuz maybe I do...

Jeez...where are these guys from? Rarely is the English language slaughtered so masterfully. I'm thinking, if this is a pick-up line, it must work like a dream...
You call me a hater like that's a bad thing

So what songs make you want to punch the closest person to you when they catch you by surprise? Here are mine:

1. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
2. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
3. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
4. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
5. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
6. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
7. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
8. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
9. "American Pie" by Don McLean"
10."American Pie" by Don McLean"
