Mika "Love Today".
Somebody should kill this "man".
One of the worst songs I have ever heard; up there with Andreas Johnson "Glorious" and Shakira "Whenever, Wherever".

I once spent a hot summer month in rural France where this was the only dented old audio cassette tape I had for choice music. It was perfect. Listening to it every day, I never tired of it. It was perfect.
Zane Lowe is on BBC Radio 1. The End of Radio? It truly fucking should be with this drivel. Still, it's the White Stripes in session right now. That will just about do.

1414ALl you'd need is a portable cassette player and you could have your very own Morricone soundtrack playing, adding suspense and drama wherever you went.

Didn't I mention my colourful poncho? And my frequent cafe brawls, where I always waited for the dust to settle before lighting a small cigar.

1416I drove to the store for cigarettes on my break and listened to Excellent Italian Greyhound from the middle of track 3 to near the end of track 8 ("Be Prepared" through "Paco") because that's just where the CD happened to stop this morning when I shut the car off.
This is in no way notable except for the fact that, while I've listened to this recording dozens of times since last week, it was probably only the fourth time or so that I listened to "Genuine Lulabelle" straight through - with more pleasure than on previous listens.
I had been skipping "End of Radio," but I listen to it everytime I put the record or CD on now. I guess I've worked my way up to appreciating the entire record, rather than just starting from the drug-rush high of "Steady as She Goes" every time.
I just now realize that I'm posting a boring, detailed description of my personal music listening habits. I apologize.
The recent reissue of Sebadoh III is playing quietly on my work computer right this very second.

1417I really liked the version of "The End Of Radio" they played at the T & G 25th Anniversary show, when Steve quoted Jonathan Richman.
The world would be a better place if people quoted Jonathan Richman more often.
