This. It's fucking bonkers that Trump gets away with saying even a fraction of the stuff he actually says and the grand takeaway is "Biden blows it".

Also, debates don't matter. Hillary kicked ass in the 2016 debates..

Most debates don’t matter because most of the time things go exactly as planned.

This is not most debates.

Biden underperformed basic expectations and Trump met his low expectations resulting in

How bad do you have to screw up to lose a debate by 34 points to Donald Trump in a country as divided as this one? And yes, these polls historically do have some predictive power in anticipating movement in the horse race, especially with a result as lopsided as this one.

Not happening. He could be in prison; hell, he could actually murder someone on live TV and his name could still legally be on the ballot.

Rules to be president:

1) 35 or older
2) Born a US citizen
3) Lived in the US for 14 years

That's it.
I would be astonished if even those cunts would have his name on the ballot, were he in the slammer - especially given what he's likely to be sent down on. Irrespective of anything.

I still don't see it happening, considering the state of his other three trials. None of them are going to happen before the election.

Either he's going to have to withdraw himself (unlikely) or die (probably less unlikely).

Would love to sum up the feeling RN. This will have ramification for the entire planet, but Eastern Europe mostly.

He's already getting much better reviews for his speech in NC today. Could it be that maybe an 81-year-old has a worse time working through a cold than people 20+ years younger? Gosh, who would have thought.

I really wish he wouldn't have seeked a second term but here we are. If he steps aside, cool, I'm voting for whoever they nominate in his place. If he doesn't, I'm voting for him. If he fucking dies, I vote for Harris. If the choice is Tr*mp versus a corpse, I am counting on Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman to deliver a cogent oath of office in its stead while they prop up the cadaver.

It's certainly not going to be the first time I felt bad voting for someone. I am fully prepared to vote for him with the understanding that it will probably lead to President Kamala Harris maybe sooner rather than later. 1) Still better than Tr*mp, and 2) you KNOW it would be appropriate for our stupid country to get its first woman president not through voting for her, but because an old boomer died.

Respectfully I have exhausted myself listening and reading the myriad of excuses for Biden's performance. I just about gasped when he coughed during his speech today thinking he might crack a rib. For me this goes deeper than Biden losing a debate and more about the duplicity of the DNC. Every election cycle we are right back with the arm-twisting from Democrats. I'm just sick of it. And what kind of game plan is getting Biden in as quickly as possible so that when he expires Kamala Harris can become POTUS. Like, why is that even a thought? Perish that thought.

Let Biden sundown around friends and family. Get someone else in there. Newsom?
