I've always wanted a high quality cassette 4 track to mess around with.

I know nothing about that particular model, but I cant fathom spending 300 bucks on any cassette 4 track.

Those are cool amps. The story I heard was that the tester at the end of the production line was a little miffed when somebody made off with his speaker cabinet. The nearest cabinet was a 4x8" PA column. He plugged in and raved about it so they decided to market a combo with 4-8"s.

I dunno. I see this company Eastwood making clones, or wanna-clones. Not really sure if there's any quality there...

Ovation Magnum 3, 300 bucks right now, 5 days.

Nice, I think I'm gonna bid on it if it stays under 500$.

Hahah. I had one of those once. It's a Framus.

The electronics are kind of bizarre. Microphonic pickups. Very feedbacky. The neck on that thing was roughly the size of a baseball bat.

I don't know what I did with it. I think I sold it to the other guitarist in my band.

We agreed that it was awesome, yet played like shit.

That one seems to have had the volume swell hook removed.

...looking at that listing, that Teisco neck is probably much, much better than the original Framus neck. Seriously, that thing was awful.

Bolt-on, correct? One could shim the neck socket to get a better set-back angle. That wouldn't help if the truss rod was weak or shot, though, or there was some other neck problem. That guitar looks teh awesome, and could probably be tweaked into something good.

Somebody make Fly an offer on that baritone. I'd help him out, but I'm picking up my own black Dano baritone (new) tomorrow from the local shop for the same price. These new Danos play very, very well, and the bridges are adjustable.

I believe it was a bolt on, but seriously, the neck was the size of the hitting end of a baseball bat. The only thing that could improve the original Framus necks on those things if they were not Framus necks. Preferably made by a company located far, far away from the Framus neck factory.

The pickups in those guitars were also rather weak, the electronics were somewhat nuts. Conceptually it was an awesome guitar, but it's execution was very poor. You'd spend so much money tweaking it, that you might as well go and buy something entirely different in the first place.

They do look pretty though.
