About Time- New York Gong (1979) (El Alien's New Wave Dispensation)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/qcsb4n

For Gong-heads and Material fans alike, Daevid Allen sprinkles pixie-dust on the New York punk/new wave scene. Great percussion from Bill Laswell and Fred Mayer.

One of the better incarnations of Gong.

If people like these, I will post their other masterpieces, Mantako and Black Hawaii and whatever else I have.

yes, I can also throw in Suichi Joe, and Livers and Giggers, and Kinsei, basically everything but the 7"s. He does run the label, and is probably one of the best guitarist I've heard in years.

Note on Vuoy: My buddy Kearney, who turned me on to these guys, and I swear that this album never sounds the same twice. the production is so deep, that it tends to shift depending on how you listen.

Would anyone be interested in the Sun City Girls?

p.s. Nina yer posts are what inspired me to get off my ass and get some shit up here. esp. the Los Angeles Free Music society shit.

A bit different than my usual posts, but try it, you may like it.

I have been re-reading some of my posts from this last week and have come to the conclusion that I should apologize for coming across as quite a bitch. Under normal circumstances, I try to be a decent human, but the past week has been shit. Sorry if I have been snippy with you, it's nothing personal.

I thought this was a MOGGS LP not a MUGGS LP. Dammit.

What the hell is Muggs?

HEY JODESTER - hope I'm not stealing your thunder here... but I had this handy:

Von Lmo - Future Language

http://www.sendspace.com/file/k4ltw6

I went to a Skin Graft 'Oops! Indoors' in 2002 and at the merch table, amongst the bands' stuff (Arab On Radar, The Locust, etc.) there was a copy of this. (Later I found out supposedly Weasel Walter was behind this CD reissue? So I guess it made more sense then... but at the time I was like "HOLY WTF? I MUST HAVE THIS!")

Does anybody know if there were any other releases on this "Flemish Masters" "label"?

...funny. I just did the same thing, and realized that I'm not even posting coherently. Losing it a bit, I'm afraid...

Word up. I have not been thoughtful in the least lately.

You know what would cheer us all up? A little GG Allin! :smt097

Seriously...that would be a fun upload...

Karp kick ass. One of my favorite bands of the 90s. (For those who don't know, Karp's guitarist was Jared Warren, currently kicking 12 kinds of ass as the bassist/vocalist of Big Business.)
