1494Leeds have made a move for a new striker today. Thank the stars. I've never heard of Anthony Elding but his stats make him look like he knows how to hit the back of the net. If he can slot in next to Beckford, this could be a good signing. I'm assuming the Wikipedia is incorrect about his height. I can't imagine that he is only 4'11''.
How on earth have we managed not to fill the left-back role yet? I'm praying there's another signing before the end of the day. I can't help but feel the root of our problems is the lack of a dedicated left-back. Seems like it's been rocky ever since we lost Clapham.
I wonder if Macca would have kept Derry and Thomson? It's a shame Wise didn't piss off a couple of weeks earlier.

1495I signed Elding for Rotherham in Football Manager, he performed well on loan but became a total liability once he became permanent. He sounds better in real life, but I note he doesn't seem to have played higher than League Two yet. Hopefully raw goalscoring ability will translate - a goal every other game is good in any division.
Left back is a bit of a worry but Ben Parker seems to have lessened the urgency with some good performances lately. Derry I don't particularly care about - Kilkenny will do his job, and is younger and potentially better - and Thompson has only gone to Hartlepool on loan for three games. He can be brought back if required.
