Jim Moginie's record "Alas Folkloric" has been oft played on my iPod these days......I like it because there's very little bullshit in that record- the music is straight to the point, listenable, the lyrics contain interesting, reflective and diverse allusions and topics, and the record overall has delicious textures and scintillating moments.
Plus...."All Around The World" proves that 50 year old guys can out-drum most and out-guitar most sniveling 20-ish rock guys.
