Re: Little Details from Your Day
1491I'm going through something similar, although far more expected and prepared for, and it's fucking me up a lot. I'm really sorry, Owen.
I got down to business this summer.kokorodoko wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 9:13 am Cleared out some stuff I left in my mom's storage when I moved cities almost ten years ago and found an envelope containing two blotters of acid LOL.
I have thought the same thing, I like the sounds they make. Being in one is like one's own private Autechre/IDM/whatever-the-genre-is performance or something.jfv wrote: Tue Aug 29, 2023 12:44 pm Just had an MRI to help diagnose a nagging, unknown shoulder injury.
Was thinking that the cadence of noises made by the MRI machine could serve as the basis for some sort of musical piece.

You probably already know this, but I saw a very surprising video recently about the correct way to crack eggs: instead of cracking them on the edge of the pan, if you (gently) crush them flat against the kitchen counter the membrane keeps everything intact and stops it leaking out: you can then just pull it apart over the pan and none of the shell goes anywhere.enframed wrote: Tue Aug 29, 2023 9:43 pm I just spent five minutes trying to get the tiniest bit of eggshell out of my eggs. But I got it.
