I've wanted to do this for a while, but free or cheap broken version are not so easy to come by. Would be so easy to just make a proper AC30 in one.
I had been waiting awhile too this was cheapest I had seen. The C2 apparently mdf cab, the cc2 is ply - I don’t think for what I’m playing that part will matter.
the C2 chassis is better layout.
It’s mounted so you have access when just removing the back panel, nice.

Problem was just a coupling cap coming off v1. PCB but not surface mount, really easy to get in there and remove the boards. Less annoying than I expected. Also this thing doesn't sound as bad as I expected / remembered? Maybe I'm remembering the cc2s with the not good speakers.
May just keep it awhile
My dad gave me this little Vox Night train amp which is kind of a guitar pedal sounding piece of shit, but I use the dinky little open back Greenback cabinet it came with all the time and with all sorts of amps and I love it.

I picked up the wildest guitar tonight.

Someone put a classified up giving away this weird guitar for free/for the "symbol" of a cup of coffee.
I go to pick it up. It's in a homeless shelter.
Two lovely Polish builders come out and tell me their friend went back to Poland and couldn't take it.

This is the guitar:

It's a "Soviet era" guitar - a Formanta Solo, likely made in Belarus, probably made of firewood.

The left circuit is an in-built distortion pedal.
The neck is bigger than any Gibson I've held and fucking rectangular.
The input jack is like a 5 pin DIN that I need to either rip out or find an adapter for:

The dude installed a Floyd Rose on the nut.

I can't wait to plug it in.

I've gone back and forth on greenbacks and I think open back is totally the way to go
