West Ham are completely shit since those players joined and the take over rumours started. Bollocks.

Is that after seven minutes? For real? Wow!
To round up;
Theo Walcott's goals against Germany U21s. Woah. It looks like Eriksson's mistake was not taking Walcott to the World Cup, it was not playing him. A lot of it seems to be pace at the moment, but you can't argue with the quality and composure of those finishes.
The big thing at the moment is
Petr Cech's injury - and the injury later to substitute keeper Cudicini. Apparently Cech has had surgery for a depressed fracture to the skull, but I can't see any intent in that incident. People are talking about FA investigations, and protective headgear for goalkeepers but, y'know, bollocks. The only practical result of an investigation into what happened to Cech would be: shit happens. Hopefully he'll be okay, but this shit happens when strong young men are running at each other. Roy Keane on Alfe Inge Haaland was an exception, and you could easily draw the line for what the cause of that was; but Steve Hunt on Petr Cech? No reason, no nothing, let's hope he gets better and let's move on.
Meantime, it appears the England team suck again while Scotland are pretty ace. I was enormously impressed by the Scottish win over France.
And my team? Leeds United?
Er, yeah. Fuck that 4-0 shit, yeah?

Actually, it's a countdown. There were 7 min left in the game.
Sorry for Leeds Utd

Today was the Edinburgh derby (Hibs Vs. Hearts).
It finished 2-2. Hearts had a player sent off in the 2nd half and played better as a result of it.
Good result.

Ha, okay. Still, nicely done Nice, and good photo there. There's some great footage of Leeds a few years ago, with the Elland Road scoreboard saying 'Leeds United 1 - Barcelona 0 - 89 mins'... of course Barca equalised but still!
Thanks for the Leeds sympathy - I don't know what to think at the moment. I can't imagine that we'll get relegated from this division; but then we lose 4-0 to Stoke City. We've just got to tough this out, I guess.
I listened to the first half of the Edinburgh derby today, it sounded like a crazy game of football. I'm fully in favour of 2-2 draws with red cards. That's where fun is in football.

Fucking right - it's a fiasco. The Hammers have now lost 6 on the trot, and I don't think we've even scored since the Argies signed.
On the plus side, we've got Russell Brand, Billy Bragg and Ray Winstone as celebrity supporters. Maybe we should give Brandy a go up front, seeing as everything he touches turns to gold.

Reports suggest the Argie invasion has caused major disruptions in the dressing room. You can't blame West Ham for signing them, but if they're not doing the business, or indeed having a negative effect internally, then drop 'em. They'll soon want away.
Having arrived late in this thread, I shall simply state that after an awful September during which we conceded 17 goals in four games, The mighty Posh (Peterborough United) are now heading in the right direction after a 2-1 home win over Shrewsbury at the weekend, our first since August.

This had inspired me to order his autobiography. You can get it for £3. He's very unusually lunatic.
