A new addition to my amp arsenal.

Hiwatt CP103 - Pete Townsend signature series.
I A/B/C'd with a new Dr103 and a '73 DR103 and have to say that the CP103 sounded the best, tighter harder and more versitile, I don't mind the lack of a mid control too much either.

I use a 50 watt valve P.A. head, it's nice but seems to have a little frequency hump around 2-300Hz. If you cut this out with an EQ pedal, it sounds about right.

I put it through a 2x8 guitar cab with a 1x15 bass cab. It's not that loud, but it sounds good.

you have probably never heard a sound more huge.

fender champ 25SE, 25 watts, solid state pre-amp, tubes in the power amp section.
i´m searching for something with more power than my pro junior but small and portable.

for bass and some guitar :- polytone mini brute. not very exciting but i know it's going to work every time that i switch it on. it usually goes through the p.a. via a palmer junction d.i. box. for guitar only:- sjb ant 30w 2x12 class a. i always wanted the 16w 1x12 version. but never found one. hoo boo

I know I've done this before, but what the hell.

Bass Rig:
Adrian Bass Preamp (who made that?)
QSC 850 Power Amp
Ampeg 6-10 cab
