Really Good Beers

Should Cock Ale be combined with Bush beer?

I quite agree. Thing about Stella is, it used to be cheap as hell, but now that Belgian beers have become so trendy, the price of Stella has shot up like 200% in the past 10 years or so.

Seems like every other douchebag you see out at bars is sporting a goddamn Stella Artois. For the $5-6 I could spend on a Stella, I'd rather drink a really good beer.

Or if I'm on a budget, 3 PBR's.

And yeah. Cock Ale and Bush beer go together like... um, well, you get the idea.

one of the two fuels of my band- that and Wilson socks, both of which you can get 6-for-5 deals on.

There's some brilliant polish beer in london now, since they become our EU Idren.

This is probably the best. Up there with Tiger in my flatmates estimation, which is pretty high up.

Also Lech is pretty damn nice and can also lead to a lot of shit smutty jokes.

I buy this shit sometimes when I don't feel like ponying up for Modelo at the corner store. It's the cheapest beer they have, and rather foul compared to the top tier mexican brews that I've been into lately (thanks to 20 limes for $1.00 at Los Quatrro Cominos. Gotta use dem shits up!). Which reminds me, how the fuck is Corona by far and away the most popular Mexican beer? It's hands down one of the worst beers I've ever had, and it's often the same price as Modelo and only slightly cheaper than Bohemia, which I think is one of the best beers in the world. Are those gae commercials really that effective? Wtf?

On another note, one of the few small American breweries that I really like is Victory out of Pennsylvania. Their Prima Pils is especially excellent. Also, I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I had a Samuel Adams at Pizzaria Due last Sunday after a long walk from downtown to Maxwell Street Market and I'll be damned if it wasn't one of the best beers I've ever had. I think context was very important in my enjoyment of it though.

I've mentioned this to another forum member before, but Old Chub has the following things going for it:

1. It's called Old Chub.
2. It comes from Lyons, CO, a little mountain rat town just northwest of Longmont (as in the Potion Castle).
3. It is a quality can beer.
4. It's called Old Chub.

Old Chub.

Chris Herbert, if you are reading this, I tried Duchess de Bourgogne last week. It was my 30th birthday and I shared one of the big bottles with a friend who turned 30 the day after me. We then took a pleasant bike ride. It was an incredible beer.

Marupialized, after you finish those wheat beers, can you pick up the bottles with your pussy?

both old chub and dale's pale ale both get my nod of approval. excellent can beers. old chub, if i recall, is at least 8% abv too.

and my nod of approval carries a lot of weight.

That character on the label looks a bit like Homestar Runner

maybe I'm a real sicko but every time I look at the label I can't help but imagine how it would feel to put my penis in the peach creature's mouth
