I at least give them props for acknowledging how silly the name of their hometown is, and incorporating that into their band name.
But aside from that, they sound boring as shit.

I keep thinking about listening to some of these bands just to see how bad they are, but I currently have Charles Mingus Live (at Newport Jazz Festival, I think) playing in iTunes. I'm not pausing that to put on a bunch of assbags in Handsocks.

So true. My old neighbor was friends with their original guitarist, who apparently wrote all of the songs on their first album and then was kicked out for not having the right 'image'.
