That switch box you linked should work with any passive volume pedal, Chris. Any pedal builder should be able to build one for about $10 in parts plus a box to house it.

Chris, "Comments" section/Right at the top. Seems like you are not the only person thinking along these lines(which it seems like you've already worked out). I'm not sure if the came up with a silver bullet or not, but I'm interested now.

Tried one of those DOD mini exp pedals and it didn't have even range that I need for the wooshing bullshit I'm doing w/ it.Man, how is there not a company that does nothing but this?It can't be that high of a hurdle, and it feels like there is a market that is just being ignored.

Like "Tuner"-level obvious. For real! And I've come across enough Gear Page threads of people trying to do this that it seems like a dumb thing that someone could make and people would be happy!I feel like I just found my equivalent of Tim's dual delay momentary thing white whale thing that took almost a decade to solve!

My 2 cents: a Gibson Ripper bass. It has my perfect bass sound: kinda like if a Fender Jazz went though puberty and its voice dropped.

Ended up ordering this switch off Reverb:https://reverb.com/item/10269490-amazin ... pedals-comStill can't believe that there isn't an off the shelf switchable volume/expression pedal on the market. Hey pedal builders, someone make this damn thing, it seems like there's a market for it!

tallchris wrote:Is there a pedal that'll work as an expression pedal & a volume pedal, but not at the same time? Like it'll only be an expression pedal if the pedal it's changing is activated, otherwise it'll be a volume pedal?Trying to conserve some space on my board, and I've really found that the mini-volume/expression pedals don't work for my big ass feet.It seems like someone should be able to make this in a crybaby type shell with a dual pot. One side of the dual pot is hooked to the audio input and output through the traditional jacks and an additional jack is hooked to the other pot to control expression. A 3PDT footswitch could probably be configured to switch between these two functions so you aren't controlling both at the same time.Boom!
