I'm forever astounded that places like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon exist in America. When I think of an American landscape it usually consists of concrete, lawns, a body of water, and prairies - which are pretty rad on their own. Waterfalls and valleys and geothermal shit seem more suited to anywhere else but here.
I don't get out much
The western part of the USA is astoundingly beautiful.
It was one of my favorite vacations ever. Rented a minivan and took wife & two daughters for an 11-day road trip. Volo -> San Francisco -> Seattle -> Volo. Eight national parks and lots of other stuff on the way. It was my oldest daughter's suggestion as it was our last trip together before she went off to college.
Yellowstone was amazing, though my favorite part of the trip was Redwood National Park at 7 AM on a Monday. There was no one there except us, a herd of elk, and massive fucking trees!
I'm incredibly fortunate to be able to do something like that.
East has some beauty as well. Where I'm from we don't have much hills, let alone mountains (Finland has zero mountains), so driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway was awesome. Even saw a bear cub there.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw The Sisters of Mercy in Portland and then went dancing (and took this pic) at The Coffin Club afterward!

I have nothing to go off, but you do look well, and that's good to see.

Thanks. Some of those are pre treatment. But I’ve bounced back pretty quickly compared to a vast majority of people that have a stem cell transplant. I was back working after five weeks. Which was nuts. The consolidation treatment I’m on at the moment is most just feeling a bit hungover for a few days after. I’ve got all my hair back with no weirdness so that kind of normalises things externally.

Cool, have fun!
Jeez... can't remember the last time I dreesed up. I wasn't even a teenager. I think it was a Freddie Krueger costume I put, totally self made.
