the Vandals had a run between like...1992 and 1995 where they absolutely ripped. most likely due to Freese being on drums. i still listen to Live Fast Diarrhea frequently and it is great. the Quickening had great songs but the recording sucks ass. instead we settled on Under the Christmas Fish by the Didjitsi know the guitarist (well, of the current lineup, since maybe the 3rd record) plays with Oingo Boingo and I know Freese has played w/ Elfmanpenningtron wrote: I forgot about that cover! There are some great tracks on The Quickening, but that's the only one I've heard of theirs from the 90s. No Use for a Name, Diesel Boy, etc. all sucked.
