This guy I just called about a drum kit advertised in the local paper for £X.

Me: "Hi, I'm calling about the drumkit in the paper, is it still available?"

Him: "It is, yes, although I must tell you that although it's advertised at £X, I'm expecting more than £X for it..."

I watch SportsCenter on ESPN just about every day. I feel like I was much better informed about sports when I just read the newspaper and boxscores ever day, but whatever - SportsCenter is a habit.

I know it's the slow part of the year, what with pretty much only baseball to cover, but I find this Who's Now? thing they're doing infuriating. For those who haven't seen this they have set up a bracket-style single-elimination tournament/popularity contest in which 32 currently famous athletes are voted and/debated on in head-to-head polls to determine who is the most "now." WTF is the point of this?
