Wall of Voodoo ~ Dark Continent
This album is far superior to anything else they have done. I love when you drop the needle on side one and it takes about 30 seconds or so until he starts singing. The entire time I wonder if I have it on the right speed.

Flesheaters ~ Forever Came Today
Thankfully, I am old enough to have funny Chris D. stories of my very own. The best thing ever recorded by them.

SLUB~ Burning Immigrant/Velvet Glove single. (1996)
Anyone remember this band from Melbourne. They were on SFTRI.

Mr. Scruff~ Keep It Unreal
Anyone who incorporates Alan Watts into a song, is awesome. Trouser Jazz is fantastic as well.

Best for last..
Funkadelic ~ S/T
With the amount I have just smoked, I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this is the best album ever in the history of forever. Jesus, is this album fantastic.

How can someone not know how to dance? This has always astounded me. If they can't dance, be wary of their bedroom performance.

Just a thought.

Giddy Motors Do Easy, who I want to know more about. Someone mentioned them to me in passing, saying "I bet you'd like them" and sure enough I do.

They would not sound out of place on the Touch and Go of the mid 90's.

I am thinking they would be a good double bill with Part Chimp.

Yeah, it reads that way doesn't it. I never heard Civ the band, though with the pedigree I probably should have; they were one of those that came and went before I ever bothered. At a guess I'd guess maybe there's one song I really like and a bunch I could care less about; that seems to be the pattern for bands-made-up-of-old-NYHC-kids-grown-up. Unless they're Quicksand.

You are better off listening to Gorilla Biscuits or Judge.
