I’m not great at reading on a computer or device because there’s too much other stuff to distract me. Wife got me a Kindle last year though and I use it a bunch.

I wish books would come with a digital copy when you buy the physical copy as well.

Of course, that would be predicated on buying books new which I never do so I don’t think I’ve solved my problem anyway lol.

It’s also a bummer that most record labels don’t give you a digital copy anymore either.

I wish I could do that.

Management at my company actively monitors employee LinkedIn activities and *strongly* encourages employees to promote company stuff.

For example, I’m giving two public presentations in the next several weeks and am expected to share that info on social media.

Was recently reading up on the new Shellac album and my best guess, without knowing anything about the song yet other than what it stands for, is that “WSOD” is about LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is fucking awful. It's like the Facebook toilet for consultants.

Linkedin is the worst about notifications, even worse than fb. "Your work colleague from 5 years ago follows Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Click to see what they're saying" like every 20 fucking minutes. I had to delete it from my phone even if it does mean missing decent leads.

I know this is very specific to Chicago and the NFL, but..

You have one of the greatest skylines and waterfronts in the world and you propose to build a new NFL stadium on the lakefront with a FIXED roof?!?!? What in the actual fuck?
