Played covers live for the first time a couple of weeks ago, at The Annual Damn You! Christmas Covers Party in the beautiful medieval city of Nottingham, England.

Songs performed:

Gary Numan - Cars
Devo Medley: Gates of Steel/Girl U Want
Buggles/The Velvet Underground Medley - Video Killed The Radio Star/I'm Waiting For My Man

Shexy/Noisy video of one and a half Devo songs

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

We played a friend's wedding in November, and I think we're keeping the following in rotation for future sets:
"Come On Down To My Boat" - Every Mother's Son
"Bend Me, Shape Me" - The American Breed
"Some Kinda Wonderful" - Soul Brothers Six

And after last Friday's gig, we can officially add "Squealer" by AC/DC to the list.
That dog won't hunt, monsignor.

Hate The Police - Dicks
Little Man With A Gun In His Hand - Minutemen
C'mon Everybody - Eddie Cochran

What did the Pop Machine do for our half-assed Poster Children tribute? "Love"? I forgot about that one as well. We stumbled through "Dream Small."

"Do you know who the first punk rock band was?"
"? and the mysterians?"
"NO! The WHO!!!"

The Pop Machine covered "I Could Own You" by Brainiac, but I can't remember if we got to it before the flabby assed bar matron kicked us off stage after screaming at us.

i was in a band for one day back in college (early 90's). due to nepotism (the drummer's cousin was a flake but they couldn't bring themselves to can him) i was released from duty after one practice. we covered a bad religion song; something off of "suffer."
