I buy this shit sometimes when I don't feel like ponying up for Modelo at the corner store. It's the cheapest beer they have, and rather foul compared to the top tier mexican brews that I've been into lately (thanks to 20 limes for $1.00 at Los Quatrro Cominos. Gotta use dem shits up!).

Hmm. something must be up with the stuff they're exporting to America, cos its great here. Big polish community though i spose, I guess that makes a difference. I don't think anything has beaten the red beer i had at the tinkov brewery in St. Petersburg. Man that was good.
Credo!

Zywiec, Tyskie and Lech are all fine tipples for the budget-concious drinker.

But try pronouncing them properly after you've had a few!

Bump this shit.

I had Thelonius Monk Belgian Style Abbey ale while i was in Austin. Fucking amazing. Just one pint made me drunk enough to stand the normal people and fat chick who was hitting on me.

Also it was delicious. So good.

I also had a Double Chainsaw which was nice, lighter than the Thelonius but equally potent. Has very nice sweet almost fruit like aftertaste(but not like chick drinky or anything queer like that)

I've mentioned this to another forum member before, but Old Chub has the following things going for it:

1. It's called Old Chub.
2. It comes from Lyons, CO, a little mountain rat town just northwest of Longmont (as in the Potion Castle).
3. It is a quality can beer.
4. It's called Old Chub.

Old Chub.

I tried some fortified Old Chub ale (10% alc., I believe) at the recommendation of one of their reps at a show recently. The stuff was potent, but not worth the club prices. I might try it again.
