you forgot C) and eating shark is weird.

Technically, the title was "field biology and ecology." I'm also an ex-fine art photography major, so I would guess the answer to your question is that I am a masochist who enjoys debt and poverty.

A&P Stores is probably the only place I actively boycott and make sure that I never enter (besides some high-priced clubs).

When I was little, you would go inside one of these stores, and there would flies everywhere, broken jars littered the floors, and everything was spoiled.

We went in there once to get some milk cause my mom was in the area, and I looked in and said (at a very young age):

"Mommy, this place isnt even a real store...."

We got the milk, got home, opened it up, it was completely spoiled, and we went back there to exchange it for some cottage cheese. We got home and opened that up, and THAT was spoiled. We never went back.

Years later, Consumer Reports rated A&P Stores (New England) as the worst supermarket chain in the entire United States.

Dont do it.

Not that there's even remotely a chance that your opinion will stop me from going to Peet's, but why you no go to Peet's??? Their coffee kicks ass!

peets coffees and teas are good, very good, but peets a corporation that drives out independently owned coffee shops. fuck them.

i also avoid most all "consultants."

virtually any corporate chain i boycott or at least avoid if at all possible. obviously my motor oil is castrol, my gasoline comes form a corporation. some things are just too difficult to escape for now. if a company's stock can be bought i try to avoid it. i'm not under the misunderstanding that i can avoid it altogether, but i try not to have direct dealings with it.
