Not much to see, really - there are a few others in interesting cases, but you pretty much already get the point. The ones I've made end up in one of a couple of aluminum cases for testing, and then either move to an interesting case or get thrown in a pile if I don't get interesting results out of them. I have a decent stack of other pedals, but they're in their original cases.

Any interest in the oscillator/ringmod/expression pedals work? I'm serious.

Drill index boxes are built to survive construction sites, so they can easily survive rock'n'roll. Coincidentally they're almost always the right height for a pedal. I've used a few different ones in the past, and they're always solid. Plus they often have the cool angled top for drillbits of different lengths. And they're always dirt cheap because by the time they make it to the flea market the drillbits have long since been trashed, so they're no longer useful for their original purpose.

Way above my ability. It would take me a helluva long time to figure out how to make all of those elements work, then work together, and even then it wouldn't necessarily turn out particularly well. I'm not an engineer, and my knowledge of electronics is extremely limited.

I'd suggest you find something that fits the bill of what you're looking for, shuck the case off of it and throw it in a metal box of interesting origins. Since you've never actually heard any of the pedals pictured I'm sure that would be as satisfying - more so, even, since then it would be more likely to work than if I made it.

My current pedal favorites are:

The Akai Headrush (delay) and original ProCo Rat (distortion). I use them to dirty up my synth sound when I've played live.

I used to use a fuzztone with my Fender Rhodes. It's a very Green Onion kind of sound.

And I just found out that the creator of the Prunes & Custard pedal used to be the drummer for Split Enz. Is this true?

Thanks anyway. I'm looking at that Picowave Generator thing. I need expression pedals, though...

The Picowave isn't so much a guitar effect, more of a standalone noise/drone box. It can be modded to have a ring mod input, where the guitar (or whatever) is the carrier signal for one of the two oscillators. I built one a few years ago, and it's lots of fun to play with, but probably fairly tedious for the listener... here's a not too interesting mp3. It'll give an idea of what the thing does.
As for expression pedals, any knob on an effect could be replaced by an expression pedal, so with a fully modded Picowave, that's... 28 expession pedals, give or take. Yeah, I'd like to play with that setup.

Edit to above:
Now I actually looked at the designs I have, the ring mod uses one oscillator as the carrier for the other. There is a guitar input that raises the pitch of an oscillator in proportion to the guitar volume... but I think I cross-wired both of these options with switches... Commonsound designs are great for that, just a big open book for cross-modulation and experimentation. Their tremelo is beautiful as well. I've made about four of them. (Not that anyone needs four tremelo pedals).
