Snake is the only adequate covering for a Soldano. Nothing else can hold it.

I haven't heard one of those lil buddy Soldano amps, but pre-Verellen those were ALL over the heavy band scene in the PNW. I have three friends who all bought Avengers (basically a JCM800 circuit with 6L6s) within a couple months of each other, and they all still own and play them nearly 25 years later. None of them had TORLEX unfortunately.

I forgot about the avenger - I saw many in Ontario as well.
The Torlex was really the best innovation of the Soldano decisions.
