A mosquito hawk--they're millions out side right now--got in and has been dive bombing my screen for about ten minutes. Fed up, I clapped and got it. It fell on my keyboard. The Mac keyboard's white, and I could see the limbs and stuff that fell off twitch. My dog subsequently ate it.

Of course I thought of Uzeda.
I LOVE signs. Thought about becoming a sign maker when I was younger. Many, many pictures of signs fill up space on my pc, will dig some of the best ones out sometime.
I have enjoyed many of your pictures, burun.

I love the Deco letter forms on the old sign and the crappy kerning on the awning. Very vernacular.

Ed Fella's 'Letters On America'.
An entire book of Polaroids of signage taken all over the States. I have it, there's some beautiful stuff in there.
I've got the Fella book, and a bunch of other sign books. It's a long-standing obsession with me (all the pictures I took as a child were of signs and buildings) and thebookshelves show it.
