Haha, danke. It was my adult daughter, who's biggest offense is placing bigger bowls/pots/pans/cookie sheets atop smaller ones.

I hate at sporting events when someone is singing the national anthem and a bunch of bros scream the "that our flag was still there." I feel that vindictively triumphant tone is unearned by our country, unless they're hoping a red coat or a Confederate soldier is listening.

I haven’t heard this, uh, phenomenon (the only sporting events I have been to in the recent past have been high school-level.. I guess Lake County, IL is maybe not “red” enough) but I have no doubt it occurs.

I am looking forward to the day when I don’t have to worry about the government. Hopefully that happens before I die.

I just find the Albini's "In On the Kill taker" demos sooooooo great. Yeah, it doesn't have the MacKaye's vocals in your face like in the rest of the records, but the instruments sound so fucking great. It's not the polished piece of monument that followed afterwards.
