So good. My friend Brandon does noise for Cloud Rat and I've played with/seen Sete Star Sept multiple times. All great stuff. A bunch of my friends rep Gowl but I've never checked them out. Will change that. Three recent favorites of the grind/power violence ilk for me are:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-bJH3scB1oRadiation Blackbody (ex-Defeatist)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eo7fAiBWliUSacridoseandhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mkyCV1vHnsMilorganaut *apologies for the self promotion/tooting of my own horn, but I did release this on cassette as of last week. one of the best midwest powerviolence bands going. completely under appreciated and great dudes to boot.Played with Gas Chamber this last Saturday. Insanely nice dudes, we stayed with the bassist on our Buffalo tour stop. Super great people and the music is unique. It's like prog rock mixed with powerviolence or something.Milorganaut kill it too. I've seen them perform a few times and have seen the bassist out and about at a few different shows that we've been on. Great band, cool guys.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.
