Circle A > Corral Room.

Easily.

Is the Corral Room covered in 1980s Milwaukee punk flyers for Die Kreuzen and Killdozer Shows? Is the Corral Room owned by one of the coolest old punk dudes in the state--a man who often DJs at his own bar and offers free drinks if you play and win "guess the song" against him? (Note: you usually lose.) Does the Corral Room charge $1.50 for a Blatz? (It doesn't even serve Blatz, i don't think!)

I've had fun playing at the Corral Room, but not necessarily because the room was awesome or had great PA or because there were a lot of people there (none of these things are the case). They were fun because we've always played that place with awesome bands like Neptune and gotten into potato-throwing fights with the guys from Slackjaw (while one of them was dressed in a Gumby suit). Granted, nothing like that has never happened to us at Circle A, but that's because we haven't played there yet. Because we're dumb.

Make the Pumps show happen at Frank's so it doesn't conflict as badly?

no, I think it makes more sense to have the show at the above Stone-fly then and see if we can start it late... the basement kids arn't going to Circle A anyway... I have no clue how late that (the stone-attic) can go, but I would assume later than a normal basement...

Bah! So your bar is cooler. Ours is smaller (right? I'm making an assumption here). Ours serves Blatz for $2.50. Ours will have Houndrunner...and in the case of some catastrophe, Colony of Watts. With the Blind Shake. With motherfucking STNNNG. Again...tiny, tiny venue...big, big bill.

Yaledelay...an afterparty at your place (or mine) seems like a must. We could do it at my place on Pinckney. I've got run of the whole house. It's a big motherfucking place...and it's gorgeous, I assure you. Tall ceilings, old fireplaces...I got it with the intention of having bands play there. Bear Claw has agreed to play there on my birthday, but I fear the basement's sight lines are all fucked up now that I've had another look at the joint. We might be able to do said house show upstairs in the girls' part of the house...complete with a big room, tall ceilings (we're talking extremely tall), a balcony...and most importantly...cool neighbors.

Feedback? (You got it...)
