Has anyone heard the cover of Led Zeppelin's Thank You?
Why the fuck would you bother covering Led Zeppelin? The best you can do is be worse than the original.
And on top of that it's fucking terrible. Vocals sound like fucking Nickelback or one of those other shitty bro-rock-natty-light-drinking fuckup bands.
I have no idea who does it and I'm starting to feel as If i've posted this before.

Alberto the Frog wrote:'All Along The Watchtower' by Jimi Hendrix Experience (!!!) covered by The Fratellis (?)!
'All Along The Watchtower' is originally a Dylan song. So technically speaking, this belongs in the "worst cover of a cover" thread.

I'd say that Jimi Hendrix's cover of that song is probably the best cover though.
Can't really think of any other band who made the original artist perform the cover version of his song rather than his original song.

See, that's why I put three of these '!' between a pair of these '()'.

Who the fucking fuck is this 'Dilana' character?
She has ruined this thread - anything she covers (thanks YouTube) is dire.
Who.
Nirvana.
Johnny Cash.
What is this nonsense?

Oh dear Lord, I never actually bothered to listen to the rest of her shit. My God, how horrible. Her voice sounds like she should've had a tracheotomy hole drilled in her throat due to years from chain-smoking. That Lithium cover was bad, bad, bad.

Ah, Alberto - forgive me. I forgot the international notation for "actually a Dylan song" was !!!.
I kid.

Okay, I just read 10 pages of this and I can't believe this wasn't mentioned: Everclear's "Brown Eyed Girl"

So much wrong here. The sound effects heavy backing music. The pomo added lyrics commenting on the song he's singing. The way he rhythmically yells "hey" towards the end like he's blowing chunks. The slow as molasses tempo. When your cover makes a pop hit from 1967 sound like punk rock in comparison, you're doing many things wrong. Counting Crows take on Big Yellow Taxi is repulsive in a similar way, but the original of that was too cute by half. This is the worst non-stunt cover I've ever heard.
